You can now use your very own custom domain with your WordPress blog for FREE! All you have to do is to visit Settings > Domain Configuration and follow the information there.
We have added more domain to choose from for your blog: UberJournal.com, Journalt.com, BlogSrc.com, Blogiance.com.
And we have added some new plugins:

Congrats Alex, nice job. Only 1 problem I’ve encountered with is the Auto-embed AdSense Position. It is set to Top-Left and i can’t change it to Bottom right, although there is an option to do so. Once i change and save it returns back to top-left and ruins the order of my posts.
OK…bottom-left works just fine for me so No Problem

Nice Themes add-ons, i truly love some of them. Unfortunately, they don’t support sidebars. The one that do support - “say it” - has a narrow sidebar that cannot fit the widgets. If you can find those kind of themes with a sidebar support it would be great.
In addition, finally there is a DIG-REDDIT tag to add individually to each post, was waiting for that long time…Thanks!

how can i use custom domain
i already purchased domain from mydomain as you suggest .. then i entered my domain name and the ip address you suggest at my dns management at mydomain site … and then i entered my domain name at blogetery domain configuration and i get an error that ip address is not the same and i must wait some time until it changed but 2 after nothing happened what am i doing wrong?

1. Log into your account
2. Click on the “My Services” Tab
3. Click on the “Manage Services” button, next to the domain using DNS Management
4. Scroll Down the page and under the “Other Services” heading, next to DNS Management, click the “Manage” link
5. Enter your DNS Records
6. Click on the “Update” button
The easiest way to set up your DNS information is like this:
Address Record - also known as A Record
domain name.com ———-> IP Address
Domain name points to your IP address.

I’m so sorry but I have a problem. It may be that I’m just totally stupid, I thought I left a comment already but I may not have.
Anyway, I already have my own domain name I purchased a month ago, and a friend is hosting my website for me. My problem with Domain Configuration is this: I entered ’sunnyoctober.com’ to configure and then I changed my IP. Now, the real dilemma I face is I want wordpress to redirect to my OWN domain which you know, but not my actual website itself, I was thinking maybe a subdomain since my site is actually hosted at ‘itsnearlyfree.com/carrie’, I wanted to enter ‘itsnearlyfree.com/carrie/blog’ so that my wordpress blog will show up in that section on my website like everyone else!!
But it told me my IP doesn’t match. I know I changed it before I entered the right link so is that the problem? It said my configuration changes had been saved but it still says I need to configure my domain.. Help Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaseee!!
I do not quite understand what you are trying to do
You have changed IP address for sunnyoctober.com to 12.192.82.118, that’s correct.
Now you can map this domain to your Blogetery blog (Settings -> Domain Configuration). I did this for you. You can easily unmap it by removing domain from Domain Configuration text field.

I think I have ADD.. nothing ever comes out the way it sounds in my head. And I get sidetracked, I do apologize immensely! Yes, I did change the IP but what I’m wondering is if it’s going to my actual website where the crap is it going to show up? That’s why I was trying to get my blog to show up on the link ‘itsnearlyfree.com/carrie/blog’. So only the enteries show up in a confined area. Does that make more sense? I just didn’t know how that would work just using my domain name. And thank you! [=

Ok yea, now I have a problem haha. I see that you did indeed fix the problem but what I was trying to do was to get my blog entries to show up simple as just that, entries in a confined area on my index.html page. Just as a normal personal website blog. I had this problem the last time I tried to do it. My whole website is gone ’cause this is over it. How do I get it to just show entries in my own websites layout.. and colors.. etc. in one area.. not my whole website?? And again I thank you so much for your help! I’ve been going insane for weeks now trying to figure it out.
I’m in desperate need of help! My custom domain is premiershiptalk.com and it’s managed by Enom. I configured it so hostname “@” points to the IP address. Also, the hostname “www” points to that IP address. In my domain configuration, I put in premiershiptalk.com and it says it was successfully mapped. However, I get the error message that “No WPMU site defined on this host.”
It seems to works fine now

Ok. I was on here before, but I recently got a new blog. I have one question. It may seem complicated but I dont think it is..
I have a blog now at blogiance.com, my domain name is sunnyoctober.com hosted somewhere else other than where my site is hosted at. I bought space awhile back.
My question is this, instead of using ‘fatcow.com’s free templates for this blog, how do I get wordpress on my own FTP? Now, I have signed up for a blog on blogiance as I previously mentioned, but the version of this blog and the version of WP that I downloaded on the actual wordpress.com website, are different.
I just want to know how that would work? Any help would be appreciated greatly. Thank you!
Many problems with the new Themes. Looks like some of the are closed at the syntax, causing the test to be pushed below the white background and aligned to the left. I’ve tested them all and it appears like they just can;t work with Microsoft Explorer. I just wish for 2/3 columns wide Theme that can handle both browsers and implement all the sidebar widgets.
