Are there going to be any permissions (eg. for uploading/editing your own themes and plugins)?

That would truly make it ‘WP hosting’ and less similar to the limited WP option already provided by WordPress.com.

is it possible to embed videos in a blog? say from youtube?

Thanks. Would love for you to update the Vistered Theme to 1.7.3 (available from http://windyroad.org/software/wordpress/vistered-little-theme/). It will fix a very grating layout problem for my blog.

One note - the two files from the theme’s ‘wallpapers\bottom_left’ folder are not meant to be in their parent ‘wallpapers’ folder … these JPEGs are called flame and windyroad-logo.

It would also be cool to replace all the images in the ‘wallpapers’ folder with the ones in ‘wallpapers\extra_wallpapers’. they are much more colourful. Sorry for asking for so much

another good idea is to give people the option to use picasa for their random photo sidebar (they have much more storage available). here’s a plugin - http://www.kivela.be/index.php/apps/wordpress-plugin-picasa-web-album-widget/

I was looking for another wordpress hosting to start a brand new site, but I can’t edit the themes here and that won’t make it look like a real site, what can I do?.

because we can already have a limited free WordPress hosting at WordPress.com
