Not really sure if I did something wrong. But my ads (adsense) stopped working around the same time this update was applied. I tried adding again the code using the ads widget but it’s not working. Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?
okay nevermind, its actually showing up when i log out Ü
Hi!
For me the 75% of the ad-ons is not bad. Actually I am not sure that how will grow my blog, and it is not problem that 25% goes to support the blog system.
But it would be great when we can have some setting for it. My blog uses Hungarian language, but the add-ons are mostly English. No one will click on them.
And it could help you and me more when we can give keywords for is, or the addons will connect with the tag-s
From now on ads is showing only to logged out users. Why? You do not want to discourage regular users and members by exposing to ads. Regular users do not click ads — this is called ad blindness. If they visit your site often, at some point they simply ignore the ads.
I see, so it was part of the update. Well I have another question regarding adsense (sorry … I’m new here).
How exactly do you enter your publisher ID on the Adsense Ads tool? The example said “ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx”. My publisher ID only starts with “pub+16 digit numbers”. Do I need to type in everything (pub+16 digit numbers) … or just the numbers? Because the tool accepts it both ways.
Thanks!
Yes, your publisher ID should be pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Oh I guess that’s the reason why ….
lol!
Thanks man!
Hey Alex,
Congrats for the launch of Blogetery Supporters program. As an early supporter of this website I truly hope it’d be a big hit. You deserve it.
Thanks
Alex,
Is there a way we can fix “image only” Adsense banners, so we could add them in the widgets section?
Hi–
I’ve searched the entire site, and can’t find the place where you told which version of WP and WPMU Blogetery uses.
Two sites say I can download plug ins, but I need to know what the version is.
Sites offering plug-ins:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/vipers-video-quicktags/
- and –
http://an-archos.com/anarchy-media-player#support
There would allow videos to be embedded.
Hope this helps someone else. Maybe they’ll tell me what version of WP this is.
